For much of the duration of the Coalition Government and the current Conservative Government I have been involved in the work of the Spartacus Network. The Spartacus Network is a small, informal group of like-minded disabled people who undertake research and produce reports and briefings, that supports disabled people and others campaigning for welfare reform that is responsible and well-informed. The Network’s research, reports and briefings cover the reform of Disability Living Allowance by the introduction of Personal Independence Payment, changes to Employment and Support Allowance and the introduction of the social sector size criteria (“bedroom tax”).
Reports and briefings from the Spartacus Network can be found at http://www.centreforwelfarereform.org/projects/spartacus-network.html or http://www.spartacusnetwork.org.uk/
